"Doing The Most Good." In these four words, The Salvation Army’s mission is to feed, to clothe, to comfort, and to care. To rebuild broken homes and broken lives. By walking with the addicted, they can lead them to recovery. In fighting hunger and poverty, they can feed and nurture the spirit. And, in living and sharing the Christian Gospel by meeting tangible needs, they give the world a lasting display of the love behind their beliefs.
The Salvation Army operates 7,546 centers in communities across the United States. These include food distribution, disaster relief, rehabilitation centers, anti-human trafficking efforts, and a wealth of children's programs. Their work is funded through kettle donations, corporate contributions, and the sale of goods donated to our Salvation Army Family Stores. Eighty-two cents of every dollar they spend supports their various missions across the country. They are a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, and contributions are deductible for Federal Income Tax Purposes to the extent permitted under Section 170(b)(2) for corporations.
BeYoutiful Weddings, LLC wholeheartedly supports the mission of The Salvation Army as their ministry is motivated by the love of God and to meet human needs without discrimination.
Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) - The Nation Resource on ADHD
A national non-profit, organization providing education, advocacy and support for individuals with ADHD. Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) was founded in 1987 in response to the frustration and sense of isolation experienced by parents and their children with ADHD. This touches BeYoutiful Weddings, LLC Owner, Kiesha’s heart as she knows all too well the challenges that ADHD pose within and outside the home in dealing with this serious disorder with her own son. At that time, one could turn to very few places for support or information. Many people seriously misunderstood ADHD. Many clinicians and educators knew little about the disability, and individuals with ADHD were often mistakenly labeled "a behavior problem," "unmotivated," or "not intelligent enough."
CHADD has three current priority objectives: (1) to serve as a clearinghouse for evidence-based information on ADHD, (2) to serve as a local face-to-face family support group for families and individuals affected by ADHD, and (3) to serve as an advocate for appropriate public policies and public recognition in response to needs faced by families and individuals with ADHD.
BeYoutiful Weddings, LLC supports CHADD as it has inspired her as well as other countless parents to see their children with ADHD succeed.
PCOSAA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advocacy of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) that occurs in over 10,000,000 women worldwide. PCOS Awareness Association was founded in 2012 by Megan M Stewart and Satoya Foster, who were diagnosed with PCOS themselves and wanted to spread awareness about it along with help others going through similar experiences.
PCOS Awareness Association allows and enables women to understand what PCOS is, provides resources regarding it and creates public awareness about it. PCOS Awareness Association is an organization not just for women but men too because anyone can face the difficulties associated with PCOS – whether it is a woman with PCOS - a woman who wants to learn more about it to play a part and raise awareness - a man trying to help his significant other - parents helping their daughter and so on.
BeYoutiful Weddings, LLC is happy to provide a platform for the awareness of PCOS. In realizing the struggles that PCOS encompasses for women, it’s imperative that more people are informed of PCOS so that there is better chances for early diagnosis.
